My music

This song always wakes me up in the morning :)

Anne of Green Gables

When I was 7 years old many young people called me Anne of Green Gables. I didn't know who was she. Then I herad that they did it, because of the color of my hair. That is why I really hated this person. Everything changed when I read this book. I realized that Anne is smart, sensitive girl and I wanted to be just like her.Now I love this book and I always come back to it when I feel a bit under the weather.
Anne of Green Gables was written by Lucy Moud Montgomery. The book tells about Anne's adventures in the country school, her friendship with Diana Barry (her bosom friend) and her rivalry with classmate Gilbert Blythe, who on her first day in school teased her about her red hair and for that earned her instant, ongoing hatred, although he apologizes many times. Anne and Gilbert compete in class and Anne one day realizes she no longer hates Gilbert, but cannot bring herself to admit it; at the end of the book, they finally become friends.

My Głogów

I've decided to write about the place where I spent the most beautiful period of my life. Głogów is one of the oldest towns in Poland. It is located in the South - West of our country. The town is the most famous for it's copper mines. Głogów became a tourists destination not only because of its' interesting history and beautiful landmarks, but also for its' cultural events, for example International Głogów Jazz meetings. There are many places which I enjoy visiting, but if I had to choose top three, it would be definately: the Old Town, the Castle of the Dukes of Głogów and the pink bridge :)I've chosen the Old Town, because I spent a lot of time with my friends there, visiting some pubs and clubs. In the Castle of the Dukes of Głogów there is a great museum which has really interesting exhibitions. And my last choice :) In my opinion, this bridge is one of the symbols of Głogów. Besides, I always loved to observe Odra river when I was standing on this bridge. Unfortunately, my parents have removed from Głogów a year ago, but this town will always have a special place in my heart.
